Self-care riverside sheds (12x8) w/pens (20x30): $150 full at this time We provide space, tack room; you transport water, clean daily, keep your manure pile down, provide feed/supplies/tools. Propane tank heaters or equivalent required in winter. Your hay must be pre-approved by us for weed content or purchased from our list of pre-approved vendors, and securely tarped. You keep area free of trash/debris.

* Note: Average 1,000 lb. horse consumes 2 - 3% body weight in hay. Thoroughbreds, young, old, or infirmed horses tend to eat more. We feed grass hay only; approx. 60-lb bales.

** We will feed your horse's grain/supplements if you supply it pre-bagged.

*** Cooperative requires coverage of at least two cleanings; two group breakfast turnouts; two group dinner/turn-ins, or equivalent; sharing turnout if you want to be part of summer pasture rotation. One-day orientation required. Participants must be age 18 or older. Scheduling based on a combination of seniority, your flexibility, and prompt reply to our monthly availability requests. Cooperative clients unable to meet participation requirements incur additional fees.

NOTE: No long-term contracts; 30-days notice, first- and last- month's board, plus $25 refundable orientation fee in advance for cooperative clients; proof of vaccinations, health certificate, negative Coggins, 2-week quarantine; we accept geldings, limited mares (11/20/11: No mare vacancies at this time); wood-chewers, cribbers, wind suckers or horses that wear cribbing collars prohibited; your horse needs to lead well and get along with other horses in group turnout; dogs prohibited.
